Why do you need this manual?

This manual will act as a reference guide for anyone to seek help when struggling with your mental game during practice and/or in competition. This manual provides theoretical definitions and explanation of each of the psychological concepts, such that, this manual will cover the importance of goal setting. This manual will also cover some of the fundamental psychological concepts that will act as performance enhancer: the effective use of relaxation, imagery, self-talk, focus, and evaluation.





Most importantly, with the assignments and tasks provided, this manual will give you the practical experience to examine those psychological concepts. Lots of great, simple and easy tasks are available. They are easy to use and act as a great tool to monitor your progress when working on a particular psychological concept. *Worksheets available in 'resource area'.*
