What does a mental sport trainer do?





  • We have you as a client to anticipate events.

  • Through a series of training sessions, we are here to give you confidence.
  • We are here to assist you to recognize the skills that you had but have forgotten though they still apply.
  • Help you explore your thoughts, feelings, and actions.
  • Help you understand your thoughts, feelings, and actions.
  • Help you decide what action to make on the basis of your exploration and thoughts.
  • Help you develop an awareness of your behavior and eventually want you to explore new behaviors.

  • With the 7 training sessions, Alex, as a mental sport trainer, will assist you with problems that you may have in regards to mental training.

Why is mental sport training important?

  1. Athletes need assistance with and knowledge of how to emphasize the importance of skills, since the main aim is to attain peak performance.
  2. A mental sport trainer leads and helps clients to decide what they want to achieve.
  3. It is important for a mental sport trainer to help you discover what motivates you.

The importance of planning

  • Planning ahead gives you a clearer idea of how of deal with uncertainty encountered during competition. It provides you with knowledge and will have a more prepared mindset. It reduces hesitation, stress, and mistake that could be avoided with a well planning strategy.



The importance of emotional control

  • Emotional reactions to stressful situations can drain an athlete’s, in our case, Lee Connell, a competitive racquetball athlete, resources and impact negatively on performance if poorly managed. That is why it is important to have a strategy to deal with pre-competition stress.
